Corfu
Corfu, the beautiful Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, is known for its beautiful beaches that attract tourists from all over the world. There are some wonderful ones, each with its particularity and beauty. The most famous, where Ulysses landed after the shipwreck, is Paleocastritsa. Among the most beautiful: Sidari, Ermones and Kavos. Agios Georgios is very long (3km). Each of the beaches of Corfu presents itself to the eyes of the visitor with its magical mixture of colors, the green of the landscape, the blue of the crystal clear waters and the whiteness of the beaches. A festival of colors that make Corfu the island with the most beautiful beaches of Greece. Most of these have been awarded the Blue Flag.
To the north-west, near the tourist resort of Pelekas, is the beach of Glyfada, a wonderful resort for its lush vegetation and pine and coniferous forests. In Pyrgi, 10 miles north of Corfu, lies the popular golden mile beach, a huge expanse of golden sand and crystal clear waters.
Visiting Corfu by Yacht is the easiest and quickest way to explore especially the beaches not reachable by land, such as Paradise Beach, a pristine expanse of pebbles and rocks, characterized by transparent waters and sparkling colors, from green to blue.
